Very cute quilt - what a shame no-one was able to see it in its entirety.

I was at a fair last night and noticed the same thing! They had everything folded, and you couldn't even see the beautiful work. I hadn't entered anything, but I went to SEE the quilts and you couldn't see anything.

Your quilt is beautiful. I agree with all the suggestions. Let them know how you feel and move on. It is beautiful. You get a blue ribbon - 1st place from me! Love, ann

No, no, no, no - that's not right!

They should at least show one third to one half of each quilt entered or limit the amount of quilts entered to those that can be displayed or have someone there with gloves on that can open and display them for people interested in seeing them.

I'd be on the phone Monday morning 9am. I'd calmly voice my complaint to the person in charge when the quilt is picked up. Letter writing to the Fair Committee and newspapers would not be out of line either, in my opinion.

That quilt is so cute. I can't imagine why they would just fold them up like that. That's certainly not displaying a quilt.

    That is sad!
I wonder if a man was in charge?
I know to all you man quilters that sounds awful!
But a man without an appreciation or a quilting woman would have decided this!
Also a thought maybe they didn't have enough racks and no funds to make or purchase more? PA has slashed the grant funds to local fairs by 50% this year.

Oh and sorry Your quilt is really pretty!
