I bought a similar product years ago. It was okay, but I really think the Machinger's gloves work better.

I haven't tried hers but I did try the one Martelli's sells. For micro work it may be fine but for a standard DSM, there would be a lot of moving and repositioning. It might help those that don't have the muscle strength in their hands to "spread" the quilt while free motioning.

I too have a similar product, the one that you get two sizes in the same package. I use it when my hands get tired and arthritic. It works pretty well. It allows you to use your hands in a different position and helps ease the strain. As stated by others, however, it is better for smaller designs than for larger ones.

I just use garden gloves with rubber nubs. Guess it is what you get use to.

Mine hangs on the wall where it has been since I used it once and kept having problems with it. I didn't find it to work any better then quilting gloves which you can place anywhere on the quilt top. The Halo has to be adjusted constantly and takes more time up then it's worth IMHO.

I did the same and went back to the gloves. I agree, more control.

Thank you all for your input. It popped up on my Amazon feed and I was curious about it. I am struggling to learn FMQ. Can’t get my brain wrapped around it! I will just keep practicing!
