Just a note on this subject sort of. When I needed gloves for DSM quilting, no one local had them in stock, so I tried my old knit driving gloves with the skid group dots for traction on the steering wheel. They worked! I never did try the ones made for quilting since the “driving gloves” are $2 or less at Walmart. I just buy light colored ones so I don’t leave knit lint fuzzies on my quilts.
