I am learning to hand quilt and have a large frame that I received from my Mom but not 10 foot wall to put it. I quilt with a hoop but would like to have one with a stand to make it a bit easier to use. I have seen several different brands online but wondered if any of you wonderful people would share your opinions on what works best for you.

I like the pvc type - lightweight and easy to assemble and take apart. If you use the search function above, someone had posted plans a while back.

I have a stand that holds my hoop in a stationary position, but found I prefer to hold my hoop because then I can rotate it easily. I know they make hoops that do that so maybe you should look into those.
