quilt ideas for bandanas

I was talking to a lady in line at JoAnn's the other day. She was buying denim. She showed me the pattern she was making. It was boots appliquéd onto the denim. The boot tops were out if bandana fabric with different shades of brown, black, gray on the bottom. It was quite cute.

Thank you for the ideas for the bandanas. Someone I work with asked me to make it for her. She is supplying the bandanas, so I am sure they are the thin ones. Thank you for the pellon suggestion, I was worried about the thinness of them. LOVE the pinwheel idea did you back the bandanas with pellon? You are all wonderful!!!
