Fell in love with this fabric this weekend at fabric outlet store. I have cut 12 9inch flower blocks and then have 1 1/2 yards of each the other three fabrics. I am thinking about 2 inch sashing around flower block in small print then very small sashing 7/8 inch in brownish fabric, 2" more of small print, then 2" brownish border and large border with large print....Ideas and thoughts welcome.

What about a snowball/nine patch design? With the flowers being the center of the snowball?

would this work? then for the nine patch maybe add a light fabric to the mix?

Snowball/nine patch was my first thought, too. It'll cut down on the white corners and feature the flowers. There was a bright one posted earlier today, but I can't find to put up here. Your colors would be lovely.

That is how I have done mine. That would work perfectly. :-)

Which fabric for the corners? brown one? and should the nine patch blocks all be the same layout of fabric?

My first thought is the brown for the corners, as not to distract from the flower. And, you could do two different nine patch, (using only two fabrics in each block) or you could really mix it up and use random? I would maybe cut out nine squares and do some playing around... then once you decide, make your nine patch using the strip method. But, that is just my opinion looking at pics of the fabric. :)

Or you could even just do four squares in a block? Not sure what that is called.
