    You did a great job on piecing the bird quilt...and it is only the 4th you have ever made....be proud......but, I personally would do a bit more quilting on the sky area and also in the last border.....I'm afraid if you leave it that "loose" you will be sorry later........I think you mentioned you already have bound it??? If so, you can still handquilt in the body and border.....Doesn't have to be tiny handquilting stitches.....what is called primitive quilting (larger stitches) is very popular and would look really cute on that quilt. You could do a very large meandor in the sky area....and maybe channeling on the border.....just a thought.....

    I was worried about not quilting enough, but went with warm and natural stating 10" is ok.
