    Default Quilt label on Minky

I have done a couple of quilts this Christmas season that are backed in Minky. Normally I only have done baby quilts with Minky on the back and I generally only label those with a small tag like label that I sew in the binding (don't want them to yank it off). However my standard quilt label consists of a custom printed label that I basically turn into an appliqué piece that I hand blanket stitch down (I use some steam a seam 1/4" tape to reinforce too). Below is an example of what it looks like. Now with the Minky, I'm not sure it would work as well. What are the thoughts of others out there. These quilts are for my sisters so I'd really like to have a more substantial label than just a tag that I sew in the binding.

I do labels on minky. I make my labels similar to yours but handstitch onto the minky back.
It works Ok....just make sure to pin it on well.

I actually make a triangle shaped label, that fits in the corner, held in place by the binding on two sides. Then I just slip stitch across the third edge.

That was an option I was considering too... thanks for the idea!
