This has nothing to do with quilt labeling, but I noticed your location as Roswell, NM. I have wonderful memories and great friends in your town.

If you had it quilted by someone other than yourself, it is proper to put their name on the label also. Esp. if you ever plan to show it in a quilt show.

I have been told that you should put on the label what you want future generations to know about the quilt. I personally like to have the name of the quilt (even if it is your design you should give it a name), the quilt maker (on my quilts I put as appropriate) Designed, embroidered, pieced and quilted by:. It is always nice to include the designer and quilter if it was done by someone else. The date will add value in years to come.
