    Welcome from New Jersey!!
Oh you are so luckey to live in Lancaster. So many quilt shops and lots of them have displays of quilts. I try to go to Lancaster at least once a year for that reason. I come home so inspired to quilt (and also with great fabrics and patterns).
The quilt I started yesterday is from a pattern I bought this summer in Lancaster. I did not buy the fabric for this pattern because I am trying to use the over abundane of fabric in my stash.
I hope you find your lessons close by but if not on line are many lessons and even vidios on how to do many thing related to quilting. You also can get so much support from this site.
I am self taught and have found so much great information on the internet.
    Happy Quilting :) LOL, Linda

Welcome Maria from Lancaster. Here are 2 websites with directions to stores and phone numbers.

    www.brubakerssewing.com
    www.libertyweaver.com

I take a class from Diane of Liberty Weaver and she is a professional sewer and quilter, and a very good teacher. She also teaches at Brubakers.

    Hope this helps.

    Mary
