Quilt lost in Colorado Fires
#23
Wow, Dunster, you have an amazing eye! The next time I am trying to identify a pattern I know who to ask.
I'm so sorry that their home and such a beautiful quilt was lost, but thankful that they did not lose their lives. Things are replaceable. People are not.

We also lost our home in a fire. Ours was about 2 years ago and was caused by a blast of a huge PG&E pipe line in San Bruno. The fact that you will be trying to duplicate that quilt for her will have more meaning to the family than you can image. Even a few items that can be recovered or duplicated makes the process of becoming whole again easier. You are giving a wonderful gift to a friend.
