I forgot to say it is also a memory quilt, each block background it a memory of what we did growing up,
and who likes what. camping, fishing, ford cars, garden, tea, valentines, pocket book has born to shop on it,
dog prints for dogs, baseball games for my son, picking flowers out of my garden for my daughter,my dad old army planes he jumped out of,sewing of course for me. It is our family for my mom & dad.
So far it has been good, but I am worried and afraid of the quilting part. thanks for needed infromation.

you could do some echo quilting around some of them too. once around or more. always looks good.

Beautiful quilt and I really like the quilting with her holding flowers, great idea.
Did anyone see Why Quilts Matter where they showed a quilt that killed sunflower Sue in a bunch of different ways?
Its a nine part series on PBS.

The more I look at your block, the more I like it. The hat trim & bow on the back to much for a beginner.
Maybe I should stick to lines or wavy lines.
