Quilt magazine subscriptions???
#11
Do you belong to a quilt guild? I know at our meetings, someone usually brings in magazines. Sometimes it's 2 or 3 and sometimes it's bags full. We can take what we want and the rest go in the "library". This is a lot cheaper than subscriptions. That just means more money for fabric!

I used to subscribe to Quilters World, but have since dropped it. I occasionally check the magazine stands and look at the magazines and buy one, it will have either a cover quilt or an idea inside that I might like to do. I find it kind of cheaper in the long run, I get what I want that way and a variety as well.

I don't subscribe to any, because the subscription is way to costly to send to Canada--like add $20 to canadian mailing addresses and then they are usually on the store shelf bedfore my copy comes in the mail. Our stores ( grocery, drugstore, bookstore ) carry almost all the titles. I used to buy most at Walmart because they gave 10 % off, but have discontinued that , so now I will buy at the local bookstore.
