    Default quilt for music teacher

I would like to make a quilt for a music teacher using a lot of my fabric with music on it. If anyone has made one I would appreciate it if you would post a picture or send me a picture. If you have any patterns you know about please let me know what the name of the pattern is. Thank you very much. CaroleLee

There are a few on the forum I found by searching. Here's a link to one. http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...s-t256985.html

If you search Music quilt images, you will find quite a variety out there. I used Yahoo.

here's one that i did for the choir director at my church in 2012. It's a lap throw w/ flannel on the back (to entice them to really use it! )

I only had 5 months to do this (I hand-quilt), so the pattern is simple - single Irish Chain.

You could use any pattern with the fabric. If you have a lot a variety, try a D9P. If you just have a few, Warm Wishes is a very easy pattern using a focus fabric.

I have two pictures of two different quilts I made with music fabric. Can't seem to be able to post them here, but let me know if you want me to send them to you by email.

I made up my own pattern but the fabric lines I used were All That Jazz, Sweet Serenade, and Let There Be Music.

You can use any pattern. I just made myself the disappearing hourglass and used my music fabric. I am a violin teacher, and thought it was time I made something for myself.
