My Grandmother had a closet-full of beautiful quilts. As each of the 17 grandkids were about to get married, we got to dig through all of those quilts and pick one that would be special to us. I don't have any grandkids yet, but I have made it a tradition to make a quilt for each of my great nieces and nephews over the years. Just finished one for my GREAT GREAT niece!
Missouri Star Quilt Company has many great tutorials. I've made so many of her quilts and loved all of them. I just finished making the disappearing pinwheel 2. It's the one that looks like a churn dash block with a pinwheel in the center. Really turned out nice. Good luck!
