All of these quilts are so beautiful and creative. I am making my first panel quilt as we speak. It is a patriotic quilt for a vet. The panel was printed on the fabric wonky so it's a bit on the bias. I had to trim it down to square it but so far so good...fingers crossed that it lays flat for the quilter.

Cathy.... I had forgotten to check out the album section. Thank you for the reminder.

Sue...yes, I have been to their website(equilter). I bought a beautiful panel from them back a few months ago and still haven't used it. I did check their panel patterns section. I will check Northcott too. I have great plans for panel quilting in 2018. Hopefully some of it will come to fruition. I am excited about starting once my sewing area gets back to normal after the holidays. Thanks for the suggestions.

Another Fantasia panel.

Made from pillow panels; This one has a Marine Corps panel on the back, but it also has my GD's pictures, so I won't post it.

I'm not the best at figuring out what to do with panels, but here are a few that I have made. These are all small, either lap quilts or for children.

Irishrose2...lovely panel quilts! Thank you for sharing.
Have a couple of wildlife panels so may steal your idea for one of those.
Is that batik fabric for the blocks around the tree panel?

sewbizgirl.......more great ideas! Like the bird one.
I don't have many panels that are suitable for children but I am going to send a link to my sister. She has young grandkids and she makes a lot of panel qults for ages baby to tween. Thanks for sharing.

anne2016, Yes, those are batiks. I like that over and under pattern - too easy, but looks good. On the wildlife quilt, the blue/gold block sticks out like a sore thumb, but it was my son's quilt and those were his high school colors.

Thanks for getting back to me with the extra information. All the blocks look fine to me.

Yes it's oriental. Don't know where it came from.
Here's anotherIt was right side up on the computer. No idea why it copied sideways.
