Good morning,

I would like ideas for quilt patterns for work pants pieces my mom gave me. They were in various cut pieces when I received them from my mom and had the seams still in them. They are heavier than quilters cotton but not as heavy as jeans. I cut the seams out and have pieces ranging from about 5 x 5 in to about 10 x 6 in. I thought to make a blanket or 2 for the dog (one in the car) but that will not use up all the fabric. Thanks for the advice and suggestions!

I would keep it simple. Keep in mine if these are to be used by the dogs, they must be able to be washed.

You could just sew them together into a rag quilt. You could cut them into circles for the faux cathedral windows that is usually done with denim.
