    Would anyone have a very easy pattern for a patch work teddy bear? I am a new quilter so pleeese easy.

    McCall's has a very simple free patchwork teddy pattern.

    Look at the top right of their web page for the link to free pattern download. You will have to sign in to receive their newsletter in order to download patterns.

    I did a couple using a log cabin center made of fabric I had hand dyed some time back (never again). Then I framed them in the puzzle piece fabric. They were for the Terre Haute Autism Walk last year.

    I just drew a chunky bear outline. It was actually more of a pillow than a bear.

    If you want a more detailed bear, just pick a pattern you wnat to use. If you are going to quilt your own fabric, any of the simpler blocks will do.
