    Default Quilt Pattern Question

I found this quilt in a log cabin in North Carolina. I have never seen this pattern before so I took a photo of it. Has anyone seen this pattern before and know the name of it? Or is it a design made by a creative pioneer woman?

I think it looks like an original pattern.

I think that it might be classified as a primitive pattern in a book. There was this post a few days ago that looks somewhat similar.

Good Luck in your search !!

I've never seen anything like that before, and now grey & yellow are the "in" colours again, if that is an antique quilt. While googling the image for quilts from North Carolina I came upon a neat site, not related to this picture but they paint quilt blocks for people etc. hope you don't mind if I add the link here. http://www.quilttrailswnc.org/
