    Default Quilt Retreat

Thanks for all the suggestions on what to bring. Had a wonderful time and pushed my ability by participating in the Mystery Quilt. Turned out great, so proud of myself. It was sponsored by my local quilt shop and therefore was surprised to see people from other state's there. Apparently being just off the interstate and having a sign put up by the state as well as an internet service has made my shop one of the biggest on the east coast. I had noticed the shops I went to outside of my town seemed small but never thought that they were normal size and mine was big. Had wonderful group of ladies running the show and they even had their repair man pop in to help anyone who was having trouble with their machine. Only thing I needed that I didn't bring was a light. Thank goodness for the lady sitting next to me as she shared hers with me and let me use it when she had gone to bed. I was pretty well known as the night owl. Most night's I wasn't in to bed until 2-2:30 am but I also wasn't up until about 10 am so it worked out for all of us. Can't wait to the next one. Thank you ladies again for all your help, this newbie really appreciated it.
