I will be in Plano TX in early April. Does anyone know of any quilt shops in Plano or Dallas? I will have two days by myself to shop and explore. Thank you!.....Rhonda

I know in McKinney there is Happiness is...Quilting. Great shop, been there once when I was passing through. Would love to hit it again. I just looked to see about the address for them and found this link. She has tons of address', phone numbers and info about the shops
    http://www.sewfunpatterns.com/texasquiltshops.html
I'm going to keep that list and hit a few myself.

With two days you could do a mini shop hop.

    Old Town Quilts - Keller
    140 Olive Street 76248 817-379-4433

The Old Craft Store - on the square, downtown Carrollton

Cabbage Rose - Quilts and Gifts - they have moved to (I think) just across the street
    3526 W. Vickery Blvd. 76107 817-377-3993, Fax: 817-922-0662

    Pass Time Fabrics - Gainesville

(If you're a LA quilter, Linda's Electric Quilters is here)

Fabric Fanatics - Batiks - nice shop
542 Haggard Street Suite 510 Plano Texas 75074
    972-881-7750

    The Quilter's Workshop
    1445 Mac Arthur Drive #108

I'm sure there are more but this is all that comes to mind. I have been to most of them within the last year but you might want to call ahead to make sure.

If you go to the one in McKinney you can come back to Plano by making a circle and stop in Whiteboro at Kalidiscope (sp) and then on to Gainsville to Past Times, up 35 and Lewisville to Quilt Country.

Thank you all very much for the Quilt shop names and locations. I really appreciate your help, I will be putting them in my GPS and will be having a ball on my two day Shop Hop! My weakness is Batiks so I know I'll love the Fabric Fanatic store in Plano.

Quilter's Connection is in Plano. I have never been, but ordered a case for my Singer 221 Featherweight from there.
