Default Quilt Shops in the San Francisco area

I will be going on a trip to the San Francisco area in early February and was wondering where the "go to" quilt shops were located. Don't know if I will have a chance to visit any but thought I should find out just in case.

I'll be following this thread as I'm going to be there in early Feb, also. Maybe we'll run into each other.

Britex is an awesome fabric store right in the middle of Union Square. It is 4 floors of wonderful fabric of which quilting fabric can also be found. If you love fabric this is a must go place. Stonemountain and daughter is across the way in Berkeley, both are wonderful.

I was going to mention Britex too! It's well worth the visit just to see this amazing shop! Been years since I have been there, but would bet they are still up & running!...

Yes, Britex is a must visit. In addition, I really like the following shops:

Berkeley: New Pieces (they have a lot of Asian and batiks)
Petaluma: Quilted Angel (really wonderful selection of fabrics--large store)
Sonoma: Broadway Quilts (if you're headed north to Petaluma, might as well go by here too. Nice shop in beautiful town worth visiting.)
