Oh how fun!
There is a similar facility in my area that holds a quilt & doll show every year, showcasing the work of the residents (and possibly their family members, I've never really checked). There's all kinds of stuff, including some knitting and crochet work, but also plenty of quilts. I've gone a few times, it's a pretty good show! The best part about the show is that the residents are out walking around too, and I often get to talk to the person who sewed the quilt I'm looking at. I really enjoy those conversations.
One year, a woman entered an afghan she'd knitted out of hair she'd saved from her dog! I thought that was so funny. She was a fun lady, too. She let me "pet" the afghan and it was very soft - I would never have guessed it was dog hair. (She confessed it still smells like wet dog when she washes it though, LOL)
I hope your show is a huge success!
