A label goes on the back of your quilt with your name, the name of the quilt, where and when it was made, and (very Important) your address if are going to be mailing it out to shows. You what to make sure you get it back!!!

Some also make the label large and later write in each of the shows it was displayed at. I really like that idea.

the show is in east texas at a small town spring festival; there is a quilt club in town but i don't know anything about it; they may laugh at me, but i would like to try it, i'm proud of it and that is all that matters to me and my family, but i do hope they will be nice to us newbies!

They will, I am sure. Many times these sorts of things are actually quilt displays, take advantage, and enjoy it. Stand close and revel in the compliments, and ignore the critisim!
