Quilt shows in washington state
My quilting buddy and I enjoy going to quilt shows. We live in North Central Washington State. We have attended Shows in Wenatchee, Waterville, Spokane, Leavenworth, Tacoma, and Pullalup. Can any one give us more information on times and dates for shows in your local area? We have decided this is our year to travel.

You might like this one. I have attended it before and enjoyed it. It is in the Tri-Cities, just south of you.

I have not attended this show yet but it is in Monroe on March 15, 16 & 17. It is at the Evergreen Fairgrounds. There is ad for it in the Country Register paper on the very back. Can't find a website in the ad. Enjoy your travels.
Also the big sewing expo is in Puyallup. Not sure when it starts but it ends Sunday March 3rd.

San Diego has a wonderful quilt show. This year it is Sept. 5-7, 2013 and the featured artist this year is Alex Anderson. And San Diego is a wonderful place to spend a vacation if I do say so myself, not to mention the drive down has a lot to do along the way too.
I usually drive up to visit my niece and her family in Ellensburg WA and that takes 2 days.
Should I mention one of the local quilt shops in San Diego has over 10,000 bolts of fabric?

Portland has several shows throughout the year, and while here, you might consider visiting The Motherland - Fabric Depot.
Northwest Quilters - March 29 - 31http://www.northwestquilters.org/shows/2012/2012.php
This is a smaller show, but it's part of a "show hop"; you collect stamps from quilt shows in the area and enter to win prizes. More info about the hop and locations here: http://www.northwestquilters.org/sho...12.php#ShowHop
NW Quilting Expo - Sept 19 - 21
http://www.nwquiltingexpo.com/
Pacific NW Quilt Festival (MQX West) - Oct 9 - 12, this is a MUST GO if you want to increase your quilting skills, they have wonderful classes.

And last but not least, Fabric Depot: www.fabricdepot.com
Portland also has many excellent quilt shops scattered about, PM me if you'd like info/locations.
