Does anyone know of any quilt sites that sales African American fabric? I am looking for a panel with a African American Santa

Why don't you take some color pencils to a white santa fabric, because it is almost impossible to find black santa fabric, why I just don't know, maybe they think we are a small market but they have to cool african american patterns at quilterswarehouse.com

There was a black Santa fabric out about 4 years ago - from Michael Miller, I think. Haven't seen any since. I don't know why either - maybe worth a call to the offices in NYC to find out why not. ;-)

Or if you want something panel size, then applique or fuse the face, using one of Moda's Marbles darker flesh tones.

I did color in the hands and faces of a creche fabric I had. Used fabric paint pencils. Just have to be careful . Take a little time to get a color tone you like.

Maybe try a sample to see if you like the tone. I am thinking it may look more yellow looking. Worth a try.
