That saddens me. I pray that it is recovered soon.

I had a quilt stolen out of my car after an accident. Car had a lot of quilts in it, we were taken to the hospital, car was towed to a junkyard. We moved everything out of it into a rental car but I felt something was missing. When we got home, sure enough one quilt was missing. It was the cheapest one in the car however.

That is just awful, I hope they find it and the person who stole it.

I read a few years ago, that somebody got mad at a quilt show and threw bleach all over someones quilt! WHY would anyone do such a horrible thing?! I don't understand people! I hope the quilt is found.

Disgusting. I hope the thief sees talk of it online and feels badly enough to send it home.

Unfortunately a lot of theft happens to vendors at quilt or other types of shows. We just don't hear about it unless it is a specific item such as this quilt that is easily recognized.

So sad. Quilters are so giving that it is hard to believe a true quilter would stoop to stealing someone else's work.
