Spent some time in Taos today and stumbled across a nice Quilt Store name: Taos Adobe Quilting, which is just off of the square at 102 Terisina Lane, Taos NM 87571 They have an adjacent store that is a Pfaff dealer.
Web Address: http://www.TaosAdobeAndMore.Com A nice intimate shop that has a large selection of "Southwestern" and "Cowboy, Prairie Princess" sorts of things, along with the usual items of need or desire. The other place I stumbled upon was really exciting for me. It was called "Weaving Southwest" and it has tons of beautiful hand died wool yarns and other weaving supplies for anybody that is into weaving. They ship out lots of stuff to the whole country, and they have some lovely colors of yard from light knitting to heavy rug yarns. Definitely a bookmark for those that are into weaving. They have been in business for a very long time and the place is well established in the weaving supplies business. Web Address is: http://www.weavingsouthwest.com
Hope this is of some use to people, it was fun looking at both of them.

I was doing the Fabshop Hop today and found an online
quilt shop that I really liked. They look like they have
nice fabric at great prices. Thought I would share it
with everyone. Here's the URL www.this-n-thatfabrics.com

I tried the link for the TaosAdobeAndMore.com and couldn't pull it up. It says server not found. Sure would like to see the Southwest fabric. My daughter loves that. patti

Hey John, Did you get some ideas from that weaving store for building a tapestry loom? Bet you did! But I have the feeling that the loom is a bit lower on your list of things you want to do. And, I did bookmark that website. Loved the Churro hand dyed and natural yarns. Beautiful colors from the Southwest. Bet you have ideas swirling around in your head now as to how you are going to combine colors.
