    According to Webster -Innovation means a change in the way of doing things or a new method of doing something, so this is definitely not a traditional method of making a quilt, it should be listed as innovative. Looks to me like it should be a winner and you did an outstanding job on this quilt. Good Luck.

    This is as fabulous quilt! Definitely of the Op Art genre - wish I had this visual when I was teaching Op Art to my students. Great job!
