    I love this, where did you get the pattern, and does certain type of material needed, for example a print like the one you used? Im new please don't think me stupid.

    I started with the border fabric that I got at a garage sale and picked the other colors from there. They are cotton fabrics. Read Post 13 about the Karen Combs techniques where I learned to design the blocks. She has a couple of DVDs that you could order to learn her techniques if you can't find a class.

    Thank you everyone for your kind words. I feel like I've already won the "People's Choice" award! This will be the first time that I've entered a juried and judged show. If it gets accepted to be displayed, I will be thrilled.

    I don't know the answer but I do LOVE these colors and the fantastic design of the floating blocks! Keep us posted - we can all learn from this answer!

    My vote for innovative and many votes for a wonderful design, great color choices. I love how the cubes float. It's got my vote as a winner!
