Every quilt I ever made starts out to be the greatest adventure ever! By the time I am half done, it's like...why did I ever start this and by the time it's done... Well, let's just say I just want to get it over with. That's probably why I can start so many and finish so few. They just keep inventing new fabric and patterns I can't resist!

Yes, sometimes they just don't turn out the way you vision them to be. But what one doesn't like others will think is beautiful. A second opinion doesn't hurt.

Yes, I have started making quilts that I didn't like. I used them with no batting for screen porch table cloths. A little sun fading helps.

Oh, yeah. I made a mystery quilt which is okay but I don't love it. I won't do a mystery quilt again just because I LOVE the process of picking the fabric specific to the quilt. I also made a QAYG which I finished and donated to an auction to raise money for a friend that had cancer ... didn't hate it but it sure didn't turn out like I thought it would.

I did a shop hop quilt, my first real quilt! I totally dislike it! Actually, it is pretty yellow and blue mainly. It was much smaller than I thought it would be., it cost me a fortune by the time I was done. I still don't like it. It just isn't my colors. A friend of mine just loves it, said she would buy it from me! I just plan to give it to her!! I prefer scrappies everytime!

I'm very critical of my own work. I find fault with every quilt I make. I give them away and hope no one else sees all the mistakes I made. I don't think I'll ever get to the point where I'm satisfied with my work. So far everyone seems to love the quilts I give them.

I have a few in various stages of needing to be finished. Get disheartened with fabric choices, or spent too much $$, or blocks don't fit quite right, etc. The perfectionist in me comes out at the strangest times!
