quilt as you go Cotton Theory method?

One of my LQS had a demo. and a 15% discount on the books etc. I loved the demo, bought everything I needed because of course I was getting a discount and no shipping/handling etc...and there it sits waiting for me to get around to trying it. I will be interested to hear what others think.

I made a tote using the Cotton Theory....actually took a class to learn how to do it. The class was wonderful as I left with the tote done! Now, would I use that method again or with a quilt....probably not. I can't imagine how heavy a quilt would be using this method as the tote is even heavy. It was fun and I would recommend making a tote first to just learn the technique, but like I said, it's not a technique I would use over and over again.
