We make a eaysy strip quilts for Linus in our group. You take the backing, right side down, put batting on top and then we use strips what ever width you like 2 or 2.1/2,3 or combination.) full width of the fabric. Draw a straight line from right to left in the middle of your quilt. Lay the first strip right side up on the batting, take a second strip and put right side on first strip. Sew through all layers with 1/4 seam allowance. Open top strip and now you have two. Continue to the same thing again. Do same for the other direction. This way you quilt as you go along. Bind and you are done or bring the backing to the front and fold and topstitch. We make a lot of 40-45x60 quilts. Lap quilts etc., so the size is perfect.
