Christmas 2006, I spent alone and far away from my family. I decided to piece a quilt as a gift for myself. This is the quilt top I made those two days.

Last spring, I finally had my mid-arm and it's one of the first quilts I quilted on it- with roses in the white areas.

Most of my quilts are for other people, but I love 1930's prints, and this one was just for me.

I ordered a quilt kit from Keepsake Quilting called "Terry's Flower Garden". I've been drooling over this quilt for about 2 years now and hope to get it made sometime this year - it has large floral blocks and I love flowers. This one is Just For Me.

Wow, I love reading these replys.

I have made many quilts that I have kept and are used on our bed or the living room. But I have yet to make a ' dream quilt ' for myself, I guess others get done first, and ditto...mine gets put on the back burner.

But I would love to make an Irish Chain. Someday.

I made a Christmas quilt for myself and every year when I bring it out I love it. So glad I didn't give it away.

My answer (today anyway) would be a Baltimore, with some beautiful blues.
