I have found that a lot of people say they hate black . Won't use it in a quilt or anything else . Well I beg to differ , I agree with Loretta. It makes your colors pop !!! If you nonblack lovers don't think so just hold black up to some bright colors and see what happens . I am the opposite , I don't care much for white . It just seems to me that it is dead looking ! Yuck ! I hope I didn't offend anybody

Hi Annie, sure love your collage, I was wondering if they call that Borderie Perse. Sure is lovely and I agree with you I love colours on black.

Could be I'm not sure . I just did it after seeing a collage quilt on Simply Quilts . You live in Spain , I saw on news that bread is $6.00 a loaf there . Is it ? Annie

You got me there I know it can be expensive but only if you by the UK make loaves, I buy Spanish. I am just working out let me do a conversion here nope I am brain dead, let me look at the shopping list

Right buying spanish bread cost 1.09Euros which is 1.67$ but if we bought bread which is made in spain from a UK producer it cost 3 Euros or 4.67 dollars. of course depends where you live. for instance Marbella where the rich and famous live it could well be, but not here.

It is very cheap here to live if you buy spanish style food. much cheaper than in the UK.

Back to quilting. Borderie Perse is when you cut out the flowers from fabric and then make a design with it, I have been looking at the different ways to quilt and I wouldn´t known but just came across it.
