Quilted Christmas ornaments...
I'm looking for patterns for small, quilted ornaments and have pretty much struck out. I Googled yesterday and all that yesterday and I only found a few and they all seemed to go to the same sites. I figured that all you knowledgeable people on this site would know of patterns available or some sites that I missed. Thank you in advance for your help.

If you google ' free pattern christmas quilted ornaments' and go to Google images you'll see a lot of inspiration.

What type of ornaments are you looking for?
These finished 4 inches; center Shoo Fly block is 1 1/2" made from 1" pieces.
If you would use 1 1/4" pieces the Shoo Fly's are naturally bigger 2 1/4". Using 1 1/4" borders the block becomes 3 3/4". You can either bind them as I have or just sew right sides together and turn with a batting in between.

This is the quilted ornament video that I found last year. I made quite a few and they were really quick and well liked.

With the caveat that accessing the tutorial costs $10, the ornaments shown at this sight are gorgeous! http://theornamentgirl.com/blog/bein...ment-tutorial/

Here's a free version- one of many. I've found many easy to find ornaments and instructions on the internet. Try searching "fabric origami ornaments", "quilted ornaments", "fabric ornaments" and "homemade ornaments". Also look for paper pieced blocks- some are already 3 - 6" (Carol Doak), others can be reduced. Strip piecing and paper piecing are easy to keep precise when small.
Also there is an ornament swap on the Board finishing up, with some photos and links to tutorials. Sorry- I haven't seen any 3-D bell ornaments- will keep an eye out for one.
Have fun!
