Do you want to wear this indoors as well as outdoors? My recommendation is to use flannel instead of batting. If you plan to use it indoors, I would recommend not putting anything between the sleeves and lining. I used flannel for a jacket and couldn't move my arms well enough to wear to work. It was fine outside in fall and spring, though I didn't wear it often. I ended up turning it into a vest and making two pillows out of the sleeves. Love it now, though!
