    Default Quilted Walker Bags

Has anyone done a quilted walker bag, the kind you see on the walkers at nursing homes or assisted living facilities. I made one for my mother but it wasn't exactly what I wanted and it wasn't quilted. I would love any patterns that you've come up with. Most of what's online isn't what I'm looking for. Needs to have a pocket or two on each side of the bag and go on with Velcro. I am NOT crafty and coming up with one on my own hasn't really worked.

Thanks for any help you can give.

I made a few a couple of years ago for a nursing home. I just made totes and put the handles on so they went over the metal bar. I did make button holes and put buttons on for a more secure hold. I also put big pockets on the outside and inside. They are a lot of fun to make and decorate. Enjoy!

Made one that has velcro along the sides. Here's the link. http:/www.bucketsgonewild.com. Also made a few that just attach with ties.A little more work with the velcro one, but it seemed much sturdier. What I really liked is that it had pockets on both sides of the tote.

Thanks mudose8 for that link, I have printed it out and will give it a try. It looks like what I was envisioning but couldn't find. I want to be able to make some for the facility where mom lives so she can give them at Christmas.
