Does the call from the Quilter's Club of America tell us something about the economy? Are their revenues so low that they must call for renewals? I remember a time when they sent letters and renewal notices. I understand that Fons and Porter is owned by a corporation which is not named Fons and Porter. (Unless, Fons and Porter own the company under the name of another corporation.)

Here's what I always say:

"Thanks for asking, but no thank you. Goodbye." I then hang up. If you continue to let them, talk they will continue to talk. I'm not rude, I say thank you and then gently hang up the phone. 8-)
