    Default Quilter's Dream batting

Does Joann's or Hobby Lobby or even Walmart carry Quilter's Dream or Quilter's Dream Angel batting? Thanks in advance. I want to use it in a baby quilt; have always used W&N, but thought I might like to try this in baby quilt. What are your thoughts?

Non of those carry quilters dream. But, Joanne’s now has Pellon batting i found in 50/50. It handles like cotton but shrinks less like poly. I am finding I like this one a lot

No, Quilter's Dream does not sell through big box stores. They sell to LQS and if a longarmer has a resale tax ID they will sell to longarmers. From their website:

Retail Customer AccountsWe currently do not sell directly to retail customers. To find a local quilt shop in your area that sells our batting, please email us your three digit telephone area code, and we will be delighted to look up shops in your area who have ordered our batting recently. If you have questions or need additional help find a local quilt shop, please call us: (888)268-8664.

MSQC carries Quilters Dream batting, they had a sale on batting that might still be on.

I am a serious fan. If you can find a sale, that's even better. It's incredibly soft.

My last purchase (which will probably outlive me) was from a sale at Hancocks of Paducah, and it was free shipping with only a small added charge for batting. It came in two hilariously big boxes. I'd try there and MSQC.

    hugs,

Just FYI. We are a longarm quilting business and carry QD batting on rolls for our clients. They do not want us selling yardage from the bolts to others. They really want people to support their local quilt shops. We are lucky in our area to have several shops that carry it. If they did not I would order in the packaged and sell it that way We love the quality of the batting that much and are proud to support a company who does its best to support local quilt shops.

I don't like the Pellon or the Hobbs 80/20 batting much and prefer Quilters Dream which I buy at my LQS for about the same cost as Amazon. I wish Joann's still carried Warm & Natural and sent a complaint to their customer service about this. They no longer sell Insul-brite (another W&N product) either.
