Have you heard of the Quilter's Hall of Fame? It is located in Marion, IN and has a celebration every year. The Celebration this year is July 15-17, 2010. Jean Wells Keenan of Sisters, Oregon is being inducted into the Hall of Fame this year. There are quilt shows, quilt classes, and quilting supplies venders to be enjoyed by all. I went for the first time last year and really enjoyed it, and plan to take more classes this year. Any one else going? :D We could have a get-to-gether. :D :D :D Here is the web site for information.

Pam, you won't regret it. I really had a good time. If you go on the web site, and click on HISTORY, you'll find out how how QHF came to be and ended up there. The Marie Webster story is a neat one too, and it is great quilt history. The celebration is put on by local quilt clubs, and they do a great job.

    Sue, come along.

Sounds like a road trip to me. I don't think I'm too far away.

I'm only a hour and a half W. of Indianapolis so I don't think it would be too bad. Shew, I went to the Bahamas and back in one day---of course I flew there but it was for one day. LOL I may have to look it up on the internet and see what hotels they have there. DD and I might make a long weekend of it.
