My quilt group has a challenge to finish UFO's. Started Nov 1, I have about 10 projects finished. I had to start making Christmas presents. Using most of the fabric from my stash. I will resume my UFO's, soon.

I want to finish at least 2 kits that I have. I've also made a list of the 10 projects that I would most like to finish/get started. I may not get them all accomplished but at least I have a better chance of getting some of them done.

My New Year's Resolution is NOT TO MAKE ONE! (lol) I don't think I've ever been able to stick to it!

I will continue to clean out my UFO's but will still do new things or I will get frustrated. Getting any done will be a plus.

I am hoping to get some UFOs done before starting new projects. Am working on next year's Christmas gifts since I didn't get them done this year. But I get sidetracked, too. Am going to take some classes, also.

I started working on that even last year and since I only get to sew in the winter, I didn't get very far but it still feels good just the same. Seems like my fabric is reproducing when I am not looking cause I am really gaining very fast.

I think that my new year's goal will be to finish a project if I start it. I have UFO's but if I resolve to finish them that doesn't stop me from creating new ones....so I need to resolve to finish whatever I start. That will be a challenge for sure!

I made this resolution last year. I didn't finish them all yet, but I didn't start any new ones. So this year, my resolution will be the same. I will not start any new projects till I finish the ones already started. I do have to say in my defense of not finishing all of my ufo's that we spent 3 months away from home last winter (I finished 3 quilts in that time), and I spent 2 months completely re-organizing my sewing room. So, all in all, I think I did ok this year. I hope this will be the last time I have to make the same resolution!!

that is a great New Year's resolution! I am still working on completing 2008's UFO resolution, but I am sticking with it. Oh, and while I am sticking to that resolution, I am buying more fabric and creating more UFO's to work on. LOL

I made 12 tops since March, 2011. After Xmas, I plan to start quilting those tops.

When I get the urge to do some piecing, I plan to make small items such as wall hangings and table runners, napkins, baby quilts, etc., using techniques or patterns that I want to try.

I always feel the need to finish what I start. This way, if I get bored or frustrated with the technique/pattern, I won't have a big project to finish.

Good Luck to everyone and I hope we all make progress towards our 2012 quilting goals.
