    Default Quilters Select Thread

I watched an episode of The Quilt Show and Alex Anderson was talking about Quilters Select thread. They have 60 and 80 weight so I bought some.
I had no idea that line made thread. I love their other products.
Anyone use this? It's called Para Poly Cotton.

i've been tempted by the 80 wt but haven't given in because it isn't 100% cotton, which i use exclusively for piecing.

i doubt Alex Anderson would put her name on anything shoddy so i expect you will be pleased.

I agree, Patrice. I've never used any like this either but I had to try Alex said she uses it exclusively in her bobbin, won't use anything else.

The last Paducah show I bought a Quilter's Select special show box with an assortment of the products. I like the thread. It's strong to be so thin. There is not one product in the box that had disappointed me.

Beautiful colors! Did you see the color charts? The are partnered with rnk/floriani so perhaps it is made by them.

Quilter Select products have never let me down! Alex would not support this line if it weren't top of the line. I would feel comfortable using these threads.

I've been a little disappointed in some of Alex's products, but to her credit she always tries to make it right. I had a red fabric she put out a few years ago that was a profuse bleeder, nothing she can do about that, I gave it the Vickie Welsh treatment and it was fine. I purchased Alex's 4-in-1 seam ripper/stiletto thingy, had problems with the covers not staying on, contacted her and she made sure I got one that fit. Purchased a 60mm Quilter's Select rotary cutter, love how it feels in my hand, but the way the blade protector works is awkward and not designed well at all. I haven't tried contacting her about that yet, I might ask how she uses it, maybe I'm not doing it right.
