    Default Quilter's Tranquilizer

During my shop hop today I stopped at Beyond the Thimble in Seatauket and they were so kind to give me Quilter's Tranquilizer - a bag of m&m candy with a note attached. The note read:

Yellow - Soothes nerves when you want to buy fabric and the shop is closed.
Red - Reduces irritation when you cannot find just the right fabric.
Blue - reduces frustration when your stash is looking little low.
Brown - relieves panic attacks when there is no place to hide more fabric
Orange - Minimizes depression when you cannot get enough time to sew.
Green - cures the urge to clean house when you could be sewing.
Warning: May contribute to weight gain

I had to share this with you because it made me giggle. Such a great idea!

Love it! I knew they were really little pills. You always feel so much better after eating a few.

unfortunately, only Suffolk stores participated in this Shop Hop and they are in Cold Spring Harbour, East Northport, Islip, Sayville, Setautket, and Riverhead. I have never been to any of the stores in Nassau but I know of Quilting Bug in Massapequa, and Gone Sewing in Hicksville. Happy Quilting!

We have m & m at all our quilter's workshops. One of our gals has to have them as she sews and keeps us all supplied. Love the color codes. I will have to use them. Thanks,
