Not really. When I see a sale on anything I know DH or I would be buying at full price later when we need it, I buy it. I know how much I saved so I use the savings to justify buying the quilting things I want, sale or no sale.

Yeah, DIngle. I was there thur-friday and did ok.l Brought ome money to play with. Now I just found out, DH is going with out frinds tomorrow and won't go without me. So I am trying to get him to go alone. I may be sick in the morning. ROFL. Winstar has way too many machiens now to know which ones pay good but I do have 3 I always play and win on. More for fabric.
Now if I can only hit a good jackpot, not real big, just enough to buy me a fantastic sewing table. Wish they would come up with a quilter's slot like matching patterns, bonus when you finish a quilt top. ROFL..... And Cathy MIller, the singing quilter for background music. Wahooooooooooo

I feel like I am gambling every time I start a new project... Are the colors going to look good together? Am I going to do justice to the pattern? Am I going to really like it when it is done? LOL!

GOod point, DeneK. Quilting is a gamble in itself. ANd it could cost us if mistakes are made. Good comment.
NP3 - I know you stop at quilt shops. Just don't take too long when you head to TExas. We have shops to hit here too, let's see Cabbage ROse, Quilt Asylum, Houston street mercantile, Sew Krazee, Batiks Galore, and more. Wahooooooo.

I have a front license plate that reads I'd Rather Be Quilting. My family thinks it's corny. LOL

Another Texas woman visiting our Oklahoma casinos! Yes, I go to the casino about one a week here in Okla City. But, when I was working with fused glass, I set up my on little "glass" account. I think I will now call it my "quilt" account.
