Both DH and I are just not lucky. My limit on the rare trips to a casino is a $10 donation and then I'm gone. I'll play with what ever piddly amount I win, but haven't ever hit big. I think I'm too cheap to keep playing. I'd rather get something from a quilt shop and then for sure, I have something to show for my $.

The problem I do have is my thoughts always come back to quilting and fabric and such. I am definitely addicted to my quilting board.
Do you chose quilting and fabric sales over other things?
And "yes" Davidwent - I broke a leg and then managed to put a cast on it before I came home. LOL. You are so bad..... :-) :-)

I am the same way with gambling. I sit in the car thinking what fabric I could be buying with money that I am going to spent. I got lucky 2 weeks ago and won 1500 quarters and am going Friday to look for a FW. Hope I can find one in good working order.
I just want to see a triple - triple - triple one time!

I was just thinking the other day I could take this money and buy a couple quilting items like accuguilt and dies or I could take it to casino and possible be able to get an embroidery machine too. BUT then I told myself you would just probably loose it all. So so far I still have the money

My DH likes to go and I liked to go we we got trips. But my DH didn't like to be gone 4 days, so we stopped and drive. All the casinos we have gone to in the last year or so have been tight, tight. We went to Coushatta and haven't done too badly. DH hit a $2500.00 jackpot this last time, he is going to share with me. I like to read or work on a project in my hotel room. I do enjoy it more when we are ahead. I don't like to lose because I think of the fabric I could have bought.
I heard an expression the other day "Vegas was not built with winners".
I forgot to say, Coushatta has a really neat pattern in their carpet.
