    Default Quilting Applique

I am machine quilting my first needle turn project. I am on a dead line to get it done. The appliques are bunnies with black embroidery thread in a blanket stitch around the edge. I feel that the applique itself needs a bit of quilting so that it will not balloon out too much. Does anyone have a simple idea for this. I quilted pebbles around the bunnies.

Depending on how much room you have on the bunnies you could quilt a heart on the body then echo a little.

It depends on the size of your bunnies. Without a photo, it is hard to tell. Usually I restitch over the blanket stitch with the same color of thread as I did on this quilt to make the letters pop a little bit..
