This show is on at 6 AM a couple of mornings a week on Channel 133, Optimum Cablevision in my area (Long Island) - I love to watch and can appreciate all they do. The host "Pokie" is adorable! She 'guides' her more nervous guests through the process when they seem to get stuck - I'd be too tongue-tied to go on tv and show a process, and Pokie does a good job in helping them to feel comfortable.
I would love to see Fons & Porter on tv again. Now THERE'S a quilting show!!

I get it here in central IL on Saturday a.m. on one of the 3 PBS stations we have on cable. I work M-F, so Sat. daytime is the only chance I have to catch any quilting/craft shows. I watch it fairly often, more now than I used to. I really wasn't that much into some of the painting/printing techniques, etc., but the show has grown on me. They seem to be doing more with stitching and quilting aspects, which I like. They also seemed to try to cram more segments into each show and the pace was annoying, but sometimes now they give the guest enough time to do a better explanation/presentation. Either that or I've gotten used to it!

We have it now and then but I don't care for it as that isn't the type of quilting I like. I asked our PBS station to replace it with Fons & Porter (that is what quilting arts replaces when it is on), Quilt in a Day or someother type of quilting. They have changed it again to F&P. Also asked that they poll the veiwers to see what shows they like and don't

Its a very good show at least imho, she has many different people on there to showcase many different talents/techniques. Some I can use, and others well its interesting.
