I have a large purse that sits beside my bed, that I fill smaller (read; easier to carry) purses from. DH has a cat that likes to pull everything out of it, and climb in for a nap. (Between quilt inspections of course!)

My cat is always near where I quilt. Today as I lay my quilt on the LR floor, I have left the room for a moment and why I came back I found this......
Sorry but I am with the non cat/dog lovers. I just don't like it to see a cat sitting with his/her behind on a table topper or quilt.
Love the QB but I am not so keen on seeing all the avatars with cats and dogs staring at you. Besides that this is a wonderful place to visit and I am hooked.

My sewing room is downstairs and my black and white is always on my cutting table moving things around and gets her nose out of joint when I actually want to do something.
oh..... I love the inspector stories also. I have three. Two of the feline species and one canine variety.

Don't stop posting about your pets. I enjoy them and it makes me smile. Sadly, I don't have any pets but it doesn't mean I can't enjoy yours. They're all so cute.

Believe it or not, I iaught my two cats not to lie on any of my quilting projects...I made a soft puffy bed for them that have velcro sealed pockets along the seams that hold just a sprinkling of catnip on a tissue inside them. I can wash it, and renew the sprinkling of catnip. Don't use a lot, just a pinch, so they are not tempted to dig for it. JP

Sure hope you wash those quilts before you give them away. Some people are allergic to cats---like me. Love 'em but can't stand their fur and dander.

You can never talk too much about cats! Love them all. Mine gets on every quilt within reach. She had an awful accident this past summer AND is 15 years old. So we're loving every precious minute with her.
