Big hard sticky Tootsie Roll  that's what my mind was saying last night... I am doing better with the bunching today, better frame of mind, too. Hmmm, now I gotta think of a re-purpose for those clamps!

I have the same red ones and I have found that the best use for them is to hold a quilt to the stair rail banister so I can take pictures! Just put a bit of the top of your quilt over the banister, slide the red rubber clip on and let go. Instant quilt hanger! lol

I tried using them when quilting and I had the same experience. It made the quilt heavy and it sticks! I just bunch and accordion fold now.

I have some too, and find they are more trouble than they are worth

After basting my quilts I roll them for storage till I'm ready to quilt. The clamps work pretty good to hold them together for that.

I have several different kinds. All they do for me is get in my way. I have better luck with rolling it up with no grips...
